Sharing needs to share the meaning of life!!!

At BORSERINI SRL we have decided to support the Food Drive day by making our warehouse available, which thus becomes the hub for the province of Sondrio…

BORSERINI SRL’s response to the difficulties of today’s world is a sign of sharing for those in need, a concrete gesture to support the trust of those in difficulty and the active presence of those who listen to a cry of hope.

An end-of-day update with some data on the 2022 collection result:

The 2022 Food Drive closes with a harvest of 547.12 quintals; in 2021, 559.4 quintals were collected (Table 1), the balance compared to last year’s National Food Collection Day is down by -1.71%.

The organizers’ conclusions and comments:

Also in 2022, Valtellina and Valchiavenna showed great solidarity, and the food collected is there to prove it.

The lower quantity of food collected is a natural consequence of a sharply rising inflationary trend that has significantly eroded citizens’ purchasing power, and this unfortunately manifests itself even on occasions like this.

However, some important events that occurred this year should be highlighted:

– The opportunity to share the deep and delicate work throughout the year for the preparation of this event, with the limitations and difficulties involved, but always with attention to the successful outcome.

– The rediscovery of historical relationships with the associations that participate in the gesture (Alpini and CRI in particular) and the discovery of new ones.

– Experiencing an experience of total sharing of solidarity through a small, concrete gesture, following Pope Francis’s invitation.

Therefore, we have once again had the grace to participate in an edition of the Food Drive rich in beauty, and we can only hope that the same will happen in the coming year.

Our company is proud to have made a small contribution to the success of this initiative which, in a complex situation like the one we are experiencing, we believe can help alleviate the difficulties of people living through hard times.
